The Turtle Ship (Kwangebok?) designed and built by Admiral Shin (I think) used iron roofing to protect the sailors from enemy weapons. They had it decades before the Monitor and the Merrimac. AND it breathes fire!

Changing of the guard at one of Seoul's Imperial Palaces (Gyangedong?)
This is also a great shot at one of the four gates that used to protect Seoul's walled city (similar to CHina's Forbidden City)

Pagoda in the middle of a mediative area the Emperor used to stroll around in, complete with crane
Dragon guardian statue at the palace
The Palace reflecting pond - all kinds of fish in there and cranes would wing by from time to time as well
A wide shot of one of the Palace buildings - I think this is the main throne room and audience chamber
Notice the uniquily Korean coloring scheme used here to decorate the beams, Its much more lively than the austere Japanese style or even the Chinese.
